humans of uconn: stories that shape us
faculty and student art exhibition

As Head Art Exhibit Curator, I transformed a social media campaign into a tangible art exhibit at the University of Connecticut titled 'Celebrating Humans Of UConn: The Stories That Shape Us', featuring 35+ stories and art pieces from students, faculty, and staff. The exhibit was held on behalf of International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.

The exhibition showcased the diverse and inspiring stories of the community and how their experiences contribute to the rich tapestry of the university’s global presence. Works explored themes of UConn Student and Staff Stories, the International Student Experience, and UConn’s Global Impact within three prominent locations on campus: The Global House Lounge of McMahon Residence Hall, the Center for International Students and Scholars, and the Rowe Center for Undergraduate Education.
