I’m the Multimedia Content Producer for the Division of Marketing and Global Communications at the Office of Global Affairs at the University of Connecticut. I manage and execute the digital content strategy and website management for the umbrella office and sub-departments like study abroad, international students, global partnerships, human rights, and cross-cultural initiatives. I social media manage an audience of 8,500+ combined followers across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube.

I create curated content, including social media posts, video editing, and blog writing, aligning with our communication guidelines to enhance our office's branding. Additionally, I regularly analyze social media data to identify trends, gather media insights, and discover opportunities for future campaigns, all aimed at strengthening our connection with our student, faculty, and global audience.

global affairs & special initiatives

The Office of Global Affairs (OGA) is a versatile administrative-academic unit dedicated to advancing global and experiential learning, supporting international students and scholars, promoting research collaboration, developing global competency curricula, and delivering transformative education on issues like human rights, social justice, and sustainability.

Our work aims to instill a global mindset at UConn and beyond, contributing to economic development in Connecticut and establishing us as a philanthropic institutional leader.

study abroad

Education Abroad opportunities at the University of Connecticut are Experiential Global Learning (EGL) programs, which are integral components of life-transformative undergraduate and graduate curricula. These programs implement strong hands-on and experience-based learning components.

Designed by faculty, practitioners, and community leaders, these programs provide students with collaborative opportunities to learn and practice knowledge and critical understanding, skills, values, and attitudes on intercultural competencies in a global context, whether they are delivered virtually, locally or internationally.

Gladstein Family Human Rights Institute

The Human Rights Institute (HRI) at the University of Connecticut advances human rights knowledge and practice through research, teaching, and engagement.

As a university-wide program under the Office of Global Affairs, HRI supports interdisciplinary inquiry into the most pressing human rights questions and prepares the next generation of human rights advocates across a range of fields.

CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS

The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) is a welcoming space for international students and visiting scholars that provides advising and services related to immigration, government procedures, university/community resources, and activity programming.
